EconomicRecovery.gov is a resource for the American people to find help to keep their homes, find jobs and protect their savings.

	Neighborhood Stabilization Program
HUD's Neighborhood Stabilization Program provides grants to every state and certain local communities to purchase foreclosed or abandoned homes at a discount and to rehabilitate, resell, or redevelop these homes in order to stabilize neighborhoods and stem the decline of house values of neighboring homes.

HOPE for Homeowners Program

The Bush Administration recently unveiled additional mortgage assistance for homeowners at risk of foreclosure.� The HOPE for Homeowners program will refinance mortgages for borrowers who are having difficulty making their payments, but can afford a new loan insured by HUD's Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
